Riverview Presbyterian Church is proud to announce Reverend William Thomas Sherer, III will join us has our Stated Supply pastor beginning Monday, March 1, 2021. He is a member of Providence Presbytery (PCUSA).

Reverend (Tom) Sherer is married to Judy Robinson Sherer of York, SC. Mrs. Sherer is currently our Music Director/Musician for Riverview. He and Judy have 4 sons (1 deceased).

Reverend Sherer is a graduate of the following:

1. Hickory Grove High School – 1965
2. Limestone College – 1969
3. Erskine Seminary – Master of Divinity – 1974, Doctorate of Ministry – 1988

Reverend Sherer has served the following churches:

1. Pressley Memorial ARP Church in Statesvile, NC for 2 years
2. Providence ARP Church in Clinton, SC for 15 years
3. Honea Path Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) in Honea Path, SC for 11 years
4. Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) in Rock Hill, SC for 15 years

Reverend Sherer is retired military serving 28 years.
